De AXIS Q1755-netwerkcamera is de eerste HDTV-netwerkcamera van Axis, die een uitmuntende HDTV-beeldkwaliteit biedt conform de SMPTE-norm. Deze camera biedt HDTV 1080i- of 720-resolutie, een beeldverhouding van 16:9 en ondersteuning voor zowel H.264-compressie als Motion JPEG op full-framesnelheid. Onder andere de volgende extra functies zijn beschikbaar:

Met deze camera introduceert Axis een nieuwe Gatekeeper-functionaliteit waarmee automatisch wordt ingezoomd als er activiteiten plaatsvinden in het beeld en vervolgens wordt uitgezoomd na een vooraf ingesteld tijdsinterval.
Door de beelden van de AXIS Q1755 weer te geven op een HDTV monitor staat een perfecte oplossing beschikbaar voor toepassingen waar een hoge mate van beelddetails gewenst wordt zoals luchthavens, paspoort controle en casino’s.
Toepassingen:
De AXIS Q1755 voldoet aan de SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) standaards voor HDTV. De camera levert HDTV 1080i of 720P resolutie bij een 16:9 aspect ratio.
De AXIS Q1755 ondersteunt H.264 en Motion JPEG in full frame rate. Met dag en nacht functionaliteit en progressive output, worden beelden met exceptionele kwaliteit geleverd ook bij snel bewegende objecten en onder alle lichtomstandigheden – zonder motion blur. Met een 10-voudige optische zoom, 12-voudige digitale zoom en auto focus, kan de camera het gewenste beeld onmiddellijk en perfect in focus weergeven.
Optionele storage en flexibele installatie
De camera heeft een ingebouwd slot voor een SD/SDHC memory card die het mogelijk maakt om opnames te bewaren zonder dat daarvoor externe apparatuur voor nodig is. Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) zorgt voor de stroomvoorziening van de camera via het netwerk en maakt aparte voedingkabels overbodig en bespaard op de installatie kosten.
Intelligente video capabiliteit
De AXIS Q1755 bezit video intelligentie zoals geavanceerde video beweging detectie, audio detectie en sabotage detectie van de camera zoals het afdekken of dichtspuiten van de lens.
